What is the difference between housekeeping and domestic cleaning?
A domestic clean is a set list of cleaning tasks on a set visit. Housekeeping is broader and more personal: as well as cleaning we handle laundry and ironing, change the beds, keep linen and household supplies topped up and help with the day-to-day running of the home, usually with the same housekeeper each time.
Will I get the same housekeeper every visit?
That is what we aim for, because housekeeping works best when someone knows your home and how you like things done. If your regular housekeeper is away we will arrange cover and brief them properly.
How often do housekeepers visit?
Whatever suits the household. Some clients have a housekeeper several days a week, others once a week or fortnightly, and holiday homes are often done seasonally or around bookings. We work 7 days a week.
Do you do laundry and ironing?
Yes. Washing, drying, ironing and putting away are a normal part of housekeeping. For anything that needs specialist care we can also arrange laundry and dry cleaning.
Do you provide housekeeping for serviced apartments and holiday lets?
Yes. We look after serviced accommodation, holiday homes and short lets, including linen, restocking and preparing the property for arrivals. For guest changeovers between stays see our Airbnb cleaning service.
